Slop X Elsewhere Coffee

Made in collaboration with Elsewhere coffee, an independent roastery based in Deptford this is the first ever SLOP coffee. 

In sourcing this we wanted to find something with the right oomph and complexity to work in a stovetop, a category that’s often overlooked in the speciality coffee world. Once we’d landed on something that fit the bill, it made sense to name it Alfonso, after the man behind the iconic Bialetti stovetop coffee maker. 

What we’ve come up with together is a slightly boozy, rich brew with a fruity sweetness not commonly found in coffees that can be used for stovetop.

It was also important for us to craft a coffee for everyone, whether you want something complex in your pourover or you fancy breaking out your moka pot for a more exciting profile than your standard stuff.

Sourced from Hacienda Santa Luz, Nicaragua - one of two farms bought as abandoned lots back in 2003, with a long-term view to re-establishing coffee plantations sustainably. 

Alfonso is available now as well as popping up as a guest roast at the Elsewhere Hackney cafe and Roastery as well as popping up at a few of our stockists across London, so keep your eyes peeled.

Alfonso is sold in packs of 250grams and as whole beans.
