Welcome to SLOP 05: The City Issue.
Our latest issue is the first in a new era for the magazine, with a new cover design courtesy of our partners at All Purpose Studio. The magazine looks at the relationship between cities and their produce, the surprising things grown, eaten and produced in places like London, Athens and Copenhagen.
There’s an introduction to Wine Is Fine – the three musketeers of Athenian dining – as well as a look at the relationship between chef Roberta Hall-McCarron and the Edinburgh coastline, a trip to Oaxaca city with writer Jo Taylor and essential ingredients from baker Anna Higham.
The magazine will still be free in shops, but ordering or buying directly helps to support what we do and helps to make the magazine sustainable, contributing to the cost of design, printing and, most importantly, paying all of our contributors. Price includes UK postage.
